In this video I want to show how I mix the different instruments together. I have played them before track for track seperate into cubase. This can be seen in my other video with a different song.
although i must say that i am still not complete happy with the work. but this are small things I surely can work out.
This time the sound should be much better because I used Steinbergs Hypersonic 2 and Virtual Guitars and newer SX version. Note: The sound in youtube is not the best because of the low datarate of the videos therefore the high tones are missing.
I am making music since i was a child. I "play by hearing". I first started with keyboard later e-piano and guitar. All these three things work well without any music school. I hear a song and after a short while I am able to play it. Back then in school I never was able to learn music notes because I always played my own way. I think i never lerned or understood music notes because I really don't need them. Well I never wanted them. ;)
My music teachers often hated that way of free playing... but well.... I didn't care. When I was about 15 I've got my first cheap sequencer programm and started some experiments. I think they turned out well. because I sent the files to an official homepage of a german singer just for fun. But guess what. The author of the page was amazed and finally my midi files were availabale on the official music page of that singer. Just remember that was back in a time when live stream music wasn't possible on internet, so midi music was a great possibility to provide sound for pages. it was a crazy time and back then I really didn't expect so much feedback! Even the management and the EMI Music congratulated me for my work. It was a bit too much in that time. After a while I quit work with that page because times changed and midi music wasn't anymore wanted on pages. And for me it turned out in too much work! I just didn't want anymore... What is important for me that I usually only wanted and want to make music for my own. I remember back when i was in school i was asked again and again to join the school band. I said no. well, Many would say that this is stupid and crazy, but guess I am really not the person for that. Two persons ok. No problem.. but I don't want to play in front of people! I am shy anyways. I think it's nothing speacial I do, and sometimes my soul is kind of sick... but thats a really long story! I still make "music by ear" and I think I have a taste of music thats unusual. Why does a german person listen to finish music? I just like it, and hey I am with so many things different then others hehe who cares about it! :)
just to let you know! I cant speak finnish ;) so answers please in englisch, german or swedish thats what I know.
Before i forget, we (me and a friend) are looking for a person who wants to translate tiktak's music from finnish to english! We need that stuff for a project.
