The Kashgar Experience
Music video for Wushur Kari's song entitled "Ziyarat", in which the singer returns to Kashgar and visits many of the city's top sites. Particularly interesting are the scenes at the beginning and end of the video in the square around Id Kah Mosque. The last two minutes of the video particularly capture the mood of Kashgar.

Near all the Kashgar videos on YouTube focus on the "hot" Kashgar sight-seeing spots such as Koziqiyabixi Neighborhood, handicraft/souvenir streets, Sunday Bazaar, Id Khar Mosque and tomb of Abakh Khoja. These videos are truly satifying the curiosity about the centuries old culture but these videos are also distorting the real daily life of people in Kashgar.
Instead of doing the "hot" sight-seeing scenes all over again, this video places the emphasis on the city and economic developements in Kashgar. It may provide some shocking scenes that "East Turkistan" separatists/sympathizers have never wanted to see.
