George Maschke on How to Beat a Polygraph Test
AntiPolygraph.org's George Maschke speaks with Nick Frost about how to fool a polygraph (lie detector) test in episode 5 of the tongue-in-cheek 2003 television series Danger: Incoming Attack.
Note that the anal sphincter contraction, discussed as a polygraph countermeasure, while effective, is no longer recommended by AntiPolygraph.org, and alternative techniques such as mental countermeasures or tongue-biting are to be preferred. Note also that in his summary, host Nick Frost incorrectly characterizes the anal sphincter contraction as squeezing one's buttocks (which was and remains to be avoided).
Note also that polygrapher Bruce Burgess purports to know that "someone is messing around" based on the fact that Nick's chart showed reactions to both relevant and control questions. This is utter nonsense, however. Indeed, the polygraph "control question test" was developed in response to the realization that even innocent people might well react to accusatory relevant questions. The way one passes the "test" is to show stronger reactions to the control questions than to the relevant questions, and it is to be expected that a truthful person might show reactions to both kinds of questions.

Larry Sinclair's Polygraph Examination: Evidence of Nothing
George Maschke of AntiPolygraph.org explains why the polygraph examination of Larry Sinclair of Duluth, Minnesota arranged by Dan Parisi of WhiteHouse.com will shed no light on the truth or falsity of Mr. Sinclair's allegations concerning Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
In a video posted to YouTube in January 2008 titled, "OBAMA'S LIMO SEX & DRUG PARTY," Sinclair claimed that in 1999, while in the Chicago area, he performed oral sex on then Illinois state representative Barack Obama and saw him use crack cocaine:

UPDATE: Mr. Sinclair's polygraph examination was in fact conducted on Friday, 22 February 2008 in Los Angeles by polygrapher Ed Gelb (who, as AntiPolygraph.org has documented, is a phony Ph.D.), contrary to information originally published by WhiteHouse.com indicating that the polygraph would take place in New York on the 26th. WhiteHouse.com's Polygraph Examination of Larry Sinclair
This is an updated commentary on the polygraph examination of Larry Sinclair arranged by WhiteHouse.com, conducted by Edward I. Gelb of Los Angeles, and reviewed by Gordon H. Barland.
Mr. Sinclair was polygraphed regarding his claims that in 1999, he performed oral sex on, and used cocaine with, Democratic presidential candidate and then Illinois legislator Barack Obama.
