Chris Daly with the Tamale Lady
Chris Daly stopped by Zeitgeist for a screening of the documentary, Our Lady of Tamale, to give Certificates of Honor to a couple of local legends: Virginia the Tamale Lady and Cecil B. Feeder, who made the documentary. Unfortunately I missed the beginning of Chris's talk and the video and audio quality isn't great. But you can feel the love in the air, and it was great to see a politician honoring a couple of regular people.
